1997-1010 The Children’s Guild, Baltimore, MD, (Alternative Education for Children with Emotional Disabilities) “Transformation Station,” A national award winning collaboration with RM Sovich Architects to create an experiential learning “town center” within the lobby of the school, including the designing and building of all displays for 5 rooms. (a city hall, art museum, school store, pet store, newsstand, and reception area) painted murals in the hallways (nature trail), 6 rooms including the library (backyard scene, rainforest, clubhouse, college dorm and aquarium), and transformed the cafeteria and exterior hallway (including interior design) into a cafe with 3 murals (a bakery, formal garden, and a window mural with changeable scenes of China, Italy, Mexico and the Inner Harbor). Art aspect total-$25,000.00 The Children’s Guild, Chillum, MD, painted murals in 3 rooms and large entry (a coral reef, rainforest, and a view from a sailing vessel.) Designed and painted under- sea murals in three rooms.
