Education
1982  Graduated from Harbin Normal University with a Bachelors Degree in the Arts.
1989  Further study in Japan.
1991 – 1992   Studied Japanese painting at the Research Center of Japanese Painting, Kyoto University of Education. 
2001 Entered the Advanced Research Center of Heavy Color Painting, Faculty of Chinese Painting, China Central Academy of Fine Arts.  
2005 – present   Instructor in the Graduate School of China Art Academy.

Awards
Jaio has exhibited at numerous prestigious invitational art exhibitions throughout China.  He has been awarded several gold metals.  His most recent honor is “Top Ten Influential Artists” at the 2008 11th Beijing International Art Exposition.
