Jane Sauer Gallery will be included in the Travel Channel's "Passports to Great Weekends" show with Samantha Brown featuring Santa Fe. The air date is Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 8:00 pm (check your local listings). When Brown was in Santa Fe in June filming on location, she included our Friday night opening reception for gallery artist Latchezar Boyadjiev as one of the fun things to do in Santa Fe.

The JANE SAUER GALLERY has bee invited to attend “The First session of Beijing Art Salon 2008”, which will be held at the China World Trade Center from September 30th to October 4th. This Art Fair is sponsored by Shijingshan District of Beijing Municipal People's Government and Beijing Cultural Development Foundation, organized by Beijing Yibo Chang’e International Conference & Exhibition Center.

Jane Sauer Gallery was one of the winners of the 2008 NICHE Top Retailer Awards.

The winners of the 2008 NICHE Top Retailer Awards were honored on August 3, 2008, in a ceremony held at the Philadelphia Buyers Market of American Craft. The coveted Top Retailer Award was presented to 33 retailers and gallery owners in several categories.

Professional fine craft artists throughout the U.S. and Canada nominated more than 600 craft galleries, retail stores, arts nonprofits, museums and guilds for this year's Top Retailer Awards.

Criteria for nomination were based on NICHE magazine's Retailers' Guide to Best Practices, which details the characteristics of craft retailers who are committed to fair business practices and to growing and strengthening the American craft community.
