Conducted two workshops, one in Glass Blowing and one in Glass Casting at the International Glass Art Society Conference, Seto, Japan; conducted two-week workshop in glass working sponsored by the Glass Art Association of Taiwan, Taipei, Taiwan; Served as a juror for National Endowment for the Arts, Southern Arts Federation, Individual Artists Grants, Atlanta, Georgia; Lectured at the Smithsonian Institution’s Renwick Gallery, and led a workshop on Glass Casting for the Renwick Alliance, Washington, D.C. In 1990 was selected as head of glass at Aichi University of Education, Kariya, Japan; Served for 18 months and was responsible for setting up of studio, design and implementation of curriculum and teaching of the first glass program in a National University in Japan.
