I feel in many of my pieces I'm trying to find a way to push away all the clutter of the world as well as refine the cacophony of the often messy natural world. I suppose it's Zen, or I'm trying to make a better Buddha image.
I seem to have this unending urge to construct and construct from what is offered around me, my survivor sense saying this gleaning from my surroundings is honest and economical, "green" as they say these days, part of what I am. It is not for me gold and gem. Let me emulate the creatures of this world who create no less amazing structures of twigs or mud, so practical, so perfectly suited.
